Tips on how to Locate the Scan Tool Connection within a '92 Accord

    Open the front passenger door on your 1992 Accord ">Obd2 scanner. Reach beneath the front of the passenger seat and pull the seat release lever up. Push the entire seat as far back as it will go.

    Kneel down and position yourself so that you can see the bottom of the dashboard. Remove the securing bolts from the lip of the trim that conceals the dashboard innards. Lower the trim away from your Accord's dashboard and set it along with its bolts on the driver's seat.

    Locate the scan tool connector beneath the dashboard ">Car Diagnostic Tools. The connector looks like a wiring harness plug but will not have anything plugged up to it. If you look near the lower right corner of the glove box door, beneath the dashboard, you will see the connector.
